About Us
The Training Institute on Migration Capacity Partnership for the Mediterranean (MCP Med TI) is officially licensed by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority as a Further Education Institute (License number: 2021-16).
It provides quality assured learning experiences resulting in recognised qualifications and awards to a variety of migration actors, ranging from technical front-line governmental and NGO staff, to decision makers and thought leaders. Whilst its main aim is to deliver a full range of tailored learning and coaching products and solutions, it hopes to create a space for peer learning, mentoring, and fostering trust-based partnerships.

This entails establishing sustainable, standardised and quality assured mechanisms that enable efficient new skilling, reskilling and upskilling of migration practitioners reinforced by effective dialogue and cooperation platforms.

These courses, related to migration, provide EU-recognised qualifications. The Governing Board's Role
Governing Board
The MCP MED TI Governing board (GB) assumes responsibility for the strategic and general orientation, and overall supervision of the MCP Med TI. In particular, the GB provides a framework for the discussion of emerging priorities in Southern Partners Countries, as well as creating synergies with complementary initiatives.
The GB composed of Full Members and Observers is mandated to:
- Provide guidance and ensure effective coordination of the MCP Med TI.
- Contribute to discussions and evaluations of the Institute’s progress as well as the achievement of predefined objectives.
- Propose, endorse and monitor implementation MCP Med TI activities.
