The programme aims to equip participants with the essential knowledge, skills and competencies required for effective leadership and engagement in consular crisis management. It involves a series of activities, including practical exercises, group discussions and case studies/role plays, to enhance participants’ understanding of consular crisis management. The overarching goal of the programme is to empower participants with the necessary tools and knowledge to proficiently manage consular crises and protect their nationals abroad.

Practical application structured as follows:
Learners will be expected to participate throughout the duration of the course in interactive activities and discussions and partake in Q&A sessions. They will be assessed based on the below criteria:
- Active engagement in group discussion and peer interaction
- Contribution, including answers and questions put forward
- Link between content and previous learning/experience
Weight: 30 points
Final examination:
The final examination has been meticulously designed to assess students’ holistic understanding of the course concepts. Comprising a total of 10 open-ended questions, each carrying 6 points, the questions have been formulated to facilitate both course retention and analytical prowess.
