MCP Med TI’s Authorised Trainers
Authorised trainers are endorsed by MCP Med TI to deliver particular programmes on its behalf and are part of the trainer network.
Each trainer will be authorised to deliver one or several courses depending on their profile and relevant course authorisation requirements.

Requirements
The MCP Med TI will ensure the necessary levels of competence in both pedagogy and subject matter for all trainers and their continued compliance with standards.
The authorisation of trainers will be based on two major criteria:
- Pedagogy
- Recognised EU-accredited pedagogy qualification/award at European Qualifications Framework (EQF)/Malta Qualifications Framework (MQF) level 4 or above;
- OR
- 100 classroom hours’ training delivery experience as a lead trainer.
- Subject Matter
- Recognised EU-accredited qualification/award in the subject matter of at least one EQF/MQF level higher than that to be taught;
- OR
- A specified number of classroom hours’ training delivery experience as a lead trainer to be determined by the course accreditation requirements;
- OR
- A specified amount of relevant practical experience in the subject matter to be determined by the course accreditation requirements.
- Additional Requirements
- Competence in English equivalent to B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR);
- Written and verbal fluency (C2 of CEFR) in English, Arabic OR French is essential;
- Functional competence in ICT;
- A minimum of 3 years of position-relevant work experience in the field of migration;
- Proven experience in migration vocational training design, delivery, and evaluation;
- Solid communications skills;
- Experience in the Mediterranean region;
- Substantive knowledge of migration issues.
- N.B. The prospective trainer may be required to submit proof of the above including, but not limited to:
- Curriculum Vitae;
- Training delivery records;
- Educational qualifications;
- Continuing professional development records;
- Employment records;
- Any other document identified as required by MCP Med TI.
